The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025 is a nationallevel exam for admission to Class VI and IX in Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools (NSS) across India.
Important Dates:
- Starting Date of Application: December 24, 2024
- Last Date of Online Registration: January 13, 2025 (till 5 pm)
- Closing Date of Application Payment: January 14, 2025 (prior to 11:50 pm)
- Date of Examination: January 19, 2025 (mentioned in the official prospectus, subject to change)
Eligibility Criteria:
- For Class VI: Age between 1012 years as of March 31, 2025, and completion of Class V or currently studying in Class V.
- For Class IX: Age between 1315 years as of March 31, 2025, and completion of Class VIII or currently studying in Class VIII
Exam Pattern:
- The exam will be offline (paperbased) and consist of multiplechoice questions.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The medium of examination will be available in 13 languages
Admission Process:
- Admission will be based on the merit list prepared from the AISSEE 2025 scores.
- Candidates will be required to apply for ecounseling after the results are declared.
- Medical fitness and document verification will also be part of the admission process
