The UPSC Defence Services Examination-I 2025, also known as the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS), is a national-level exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to recruit candidates for the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy.

- Vacancies: 457 vacancies have been announced for the CDS 1 Exam 2025.

- Application Dates: The online application process started on December 11, 2024, and will continue until December 31, 2024.

- Application Fees: The examination fee is Rs. 200 for all categories except SC/ST/Females.

- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant stream and be between 20 to 24 years old.

 

Selection Process

 

The selection process consists of a written examination, followed by an interview and a medical examination.
