The UGC NET December Exam 2024 is scheduled to take place from January 1 to January 19, 2025, for 85 subjects. The admit card for the exam will be released soon on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The UGC NET exam pattern consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. The exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Paper I: 50 questions, 100 marks, 1 hour
- Paper II: 100 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours
The syllabus for the exam includes various subjects, and the Commission has introduced 'Ayurveda Biology' as an additional subject from December 2024 onwards.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UGC NET exam, candidates must have a Master's degree with an aggregate of 50% to appear for the exam. Candidates in the final semester of their Postgraduate course can also appear for the exam.
