Even the women who wear them on the advice of their elders, wear them considering them a burden or fashion.

Very few people know the science behind Sindoor, Mangalsutra, bangles, cloves and anklets.

What is the science behind applying Sindoor: - For centuries, married Hindu women have been applying Sindoor in the parting of their hair. Sindoor is applied in two parts of the hair on the head. This point is considered important and sensitive. By applying Sindoor at this place, the mind always remains alert and active.

Actually, Sindoor contains mercury which is the only metal that is found in liquid form. This is the reason why applying Sindoor gives coolness and the mind remains stress-free. Sindoor is applied after marriage because it is believed that a woman's responsibilities increase only after marriage and it becomes necessary to keep the mind calm and organized.

Glass bangles: - It is considered auspicious for married women to wear glass bangles. The sound of the bangles of the new bride makes one feel her presence and sound.

The toes in which Bichua is worn are connected to the uterus and heart. Wearing them makes it easier for a woman to conceive and the menstrual cycle also runs regularly.

Science of wearing earrings, jhumkas in the ears : - Wearing earrings, jhumkas etc. in the ears is not just a fashion. It also has an acupuncture effect on the body. Piercing the ear and wearing some metal in it helps in regulating menstruation.

It is advised to wear gold earrings to make the body energetic and silver earrings to reduce excess energy.
