कैबिनेट विभाग के अपर मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस. सिद्धार्थ ने मंगलवार को कहा कि अगले वर्ष के लिए एनआई एक्ट के तहत 21, ऐच्छिक अवकाश के तहत 22 (किन्हीं तीन का उपयोग किया जा सकेगा) जबकि कार्यपालक आदेश के तहत 16 छुट्टियां स्वीकृत की गई हैं। एनआई एक्ट के तहत तीन छुट्टियां रविवार को पड़ रही हैं। जबकि वार्षिक लेखाबंदी के लिए पहली अप्रैल मंगलवार को अवकाश घोषित किया गया है।

बता दें कि साल 2024 में राज्यकर्मियों को 36 छुट्टियां मिली थीं। इसमें सामान्य अवकाश 15 दिनों का जबकि सार्वजनिक अवकाश 17 दिनों का है। इसके अलावा ऐच्छिक अवकाशों की संख्या 20 है, जिनमें से वे कोई तीन छुट्टी ले सकते हैं। इसके साथ एक दिन की वार्षिक लेखाबंदी की छुट्टी शामिल है।
