Chhath Puja is an ancient Hindu festival primarily celebrated in the Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, as well as in Nepal. Four Days of Chhath Puja:

- Lohanda and Kharna: On the second day, devotees observe a fast, which ends after sunset with a special offering of kheer (sweet rice pudding) and roti.
- Sandhya Arghya: On the third day, fasting continues without water. Devotees offer prayers and perform rituals during the sunset, standing in water and making offerings to the setting sun.
- Usha Arghya: The final day involves offering prayers to the rising sun. After this, devotees break their fast and end the festival.
Chhath Puja is known for its simplicity and emphasis on purity, discipline, and devotion. It's a time of strong community bonds, as entire families often participate in the preparation and rituals.
