On the basis of guidelines provided in the circular on key initiative under Aspirational Block Programme, dated 25.08.2023 of Mission Director, Aspirational District and Block Programme, NITI Aayog, Gov of India, applications are invited from deserving candidate for approintment of fellow, on completely temporary basis, under Aspirational Block Programme in 01 block (Surajgarha) of District Lakhisarai.
As per NITI Aayog circular, "The Proposal of deploying fellows in Aspirational Block is approved for one year starting from October 2023 Role of Aspiration Blocks Fellows:
The fellow deployed in Block Office, under Aspirational Block Programme will assist the district and the Block administration in implementation of the programme. The fellows will also help in the planning, implementation and monitoring of activities under ABP and also in improving the quality of engagement of all stake holders. Their primary responsibilities will include.
1) Collaborating with Block level officials to design and execute development strategies aligned with ABP thematic areas.
2) Conducting regular field visits to assess project implementation, address challenges and collect ground-level insights.
3) Analyzing data and providing evidence-based recommendations to BLOs, District level Officials to optimize developmental initiatives.
4) Organizing workshops, awareness campaigns and skill-building programs to empower the local community.
5) Keeping States and NITI Aayogabreast with the issues, challenges and need forsupport.

Note : Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their higher education in the development/rural stream. |
Tenure of AB Fellows:
The tenure of Aspirational Blocks Fellows will initially span one year, during which they will actively engage with Block level Officials to drive developmental initiatives and empower local communities. Recognizing the potential for sustained impact, the program allows for a one-year extension of the the fellowship, contingent upon the fellow's satisfactory and demonstrated contributions to the program's objectives, asdetermined by the StateGovernments. Compensation:
The compensation package for aspirational Blocks Fellows has been thoughtfully designed to attract bright and passionate individuals committed to driving transformative change at the grassroots level. Each fellows will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 55,000/- as a token of appreciation fortheir dedicated service and valuable contributions to the Aspirational Block program. Selection Process:
The selection of Aspirational Blocks Fellows will be done on the basis of Personal Interview. The entire process will be undertaken by a high level committee headed by the District Magistrate
