NSF250R Open Class Results: Mohsin takes the charge in Race 1 of Round 4 with his remarkable performance followed by Siddesh Sawant and Prakash Kamat at the 2nd and 3rd position respectively
Mumbai, 9th September 2024: Continuing to perform strongly and exhibiting the true racing DNA of Honda, the young riders of Honda Racing India completed the Race 1 of Round 4 of 2024 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup NSF250R with high spirit in Chennai.
Adding more to the excitement of today's race was renowned rider Mohsin Paramban, who not only competed fiercely but also set an example of true adrenaline-fueled performance.
In the 6-lap race, Mohsin starting from the sixth position quickly moved ahead with a powerful start, taking the lead in the first lap itself. In a league of his own, he steadily widened the gap from other riders, maintaining a dominant lead throughout the race. He crossed the chequered line in first position, finishing the race with a total time of 11:22.639. With his exposure to international races and training sessions, he also recorded the best lap time of 1:51.769.
The battle for second and third positions intensified between Siddesh Sawant, Prakash Kamat, and Shyam Sundar, with all three riders competing neck and neck, pushing hard for a podium finish. During the final lap, where positions kept changing, Shyam Sundar met with the crash and had to drop off from the race.
It was a clean manoeuvre by Siddesh Sawant who finished the chequered line in the second position, competing the race with a total time of 11:23.163 The third position of the podium was taken by Prakash Kamat who stayed strong and finished the race with a total time of 11:23.280. Prakash missed the second position by merely 0.117 seconds.

The 2024 season has five rounds which began with the season opener at the Madras International Circuit (Chennai) from 14-16 June 2024. The fourth round is currently taking place from 7-8 September 2024. The final round i.e. the 5th round will continue at the same venue, scheduled for October in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
