Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has announced application form correction facility. The candidates who have applied for AMU Admission 2018 can use the correction window from March 22, 2018. The correction portal will only work until 11:59 pm, March 25, 2018.
As per the official notification, the candidates can only make the correction in certain fields only. These fields are Name of the Candidates, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, and Gender. The corrections can only be done online. Any provision to make the corrections in AMU Application Form, via offline mediums shall not be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for the candidates to ensure that the AMU application form is being submitted in the prescribed manner. To make the corrections, visit www.amu.ac.in on the due date. On the website, seek the link for the application form correction. Enter user id and password and tab the submit button.
Since the correction portal is only available for a limited time period, the candidates are advised to note down the fields in which correction is needed. Usually, the candidates correct one error and then login again to correct another error. In this process seldom errors are misses. Hence, to be on the safe side, candidates should check the confirmation page and note down all the errors. Then, correct all of it in one go.

The University will only issue admit card to those candidates who will submit the form and application fee correctly. The downloading of AMU 2018 admit card will begin in the month of April. It will be issued few weeks before the exam. The examination for B.Sc. (Hons.), B. Com. (Hons.), B.A. (Hons.) courses will be held on April 15, while, for B.A. (Hons) Foreign Languages it will be conducted on April 16.
The candidates have to appear for Dip. in General Nursing & Midwifery exam on April 22 and the entrance test for admission in Diploma Courses through CET, S.S.S.C (Science and Humanities) courses is due to be held on April 29, 2019. The exam for rest of the courses will be held in the month of May 2018.
The admission in the University shall be strictly provided on the basis of performance in the entrance examination. On the basis of score secured by the candidates, merit shall be determined. The better the merit of the candidate, the better are the chances to get admission in the desired course.
