IBPS Clerk 2017 Exam In December
In less than few weeks, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) notified the recruitment to 7883 clerical cadre posts in 19 participating organisations two months. The online exam for all these posts will be conducted on December 2 and 3, 9 and 10, 2017. IBPS is conducting Clerk exam for the seventh year now and hence named IBPS Clerk CWE VII. The IBPS Clerk CWE exam is conducted on two levels- preliminary exam and mains. Students qualifying in both these exams are thus selected for the post.
The conduct of pre-exam training is scheduled to be held from November 13 to 18, 2017, and the admit cards for PET are expected to be released in November first week. The candidates will be able to download their admit card till the exam day, however, it is advised to get the admit card as early as possible to avoid any issue. The candidates can download the admit cards from www.ibps.in by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier. Call letters will feature the Centre, venue address, date and time of the preliminary examination.
As per the structure of the examination, Preliminary Examination will have three sections, namely: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The English Language section will have 30 questions while the other two sections Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability will have 35 questions each. Maximum marks for the English Language section is 30 while the other two sections Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability it is 35. Composite time of the exam is one hour in which the aspiring candidates have to answer 10 questions of 1 mark each which comes to total 100.
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for online Main examination.
The notification for CWE CLERKS-VII was issued in August and the online applications were submitted from September 12 to October 03, 2017. The recruitment process aims to fill around 7883 clerical cadre posts in 19 participating organisations. Since recruitment in clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on State/UT-wise basis, candidates were supposed to apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only.
