Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India, one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the World and a Navratna Enterprise of Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter-State transmission system.
Power Grid requires bright, committed and energetic professionals to be inducted in the posts as detailed below for their Southern Region Transmission System-II, having transmission system in the states of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and UT of Puducherry, Raigarh-Pugalur HVDC Project and POSOCO :

Diploma Trainee (Electrical) : 30 posts (UR-16, OBC-8, SC-5, ST-1) (PWD-1, Ex-SM-3)
Diploma Trainee (Civil) : 10 posts (UR-7, OBC-2, SC-1)
Diploma Trainee (IT) : 05 posts (UR-4, OBC-1)
Assistant (Finance & Accounts) : 04 posts (UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1)
Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO) is a Government of India enterprise (separate from Ppower Grid) under the Ministry of Power .
