The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi has released official admission notification for the academic year 2018-19 for various courses. One of the top-ranked universities under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2017, by Ministry of Human Development Resources, the admission process which is usually held in the year has been advanced this year.
Applications will be accepted only from September 15 to October 13 and the University will hold Entrance Examination for admission to various programmes of study from 27 to 30 December 2017. The entrance exam will be conducted for MPhil/PhD, MPhil/PhD (through entrance as well as JRF) M.Tech, MPH, PGDE, MA, MSc, MCA, BA (Hons.) in Foreign Languages and Part-Time courses.
As per the JNU Admission Notification, the online application portal https://www.jnu.ac.in will remain open from 15 September 2017 (10.00 AM). The online application portal of JNU for AY 2018-19 will close on 13 October 2017 (11.59 PM).
The Entrance Examination will be held in 53 cities in India and also in Kathmandu (Nepal).
The Admission Notification informed that prospectus outlining the details of the admission process can be found on JNU website (https://www.jnu.ac.in). However, it will be available only after September 15. More details will be given when the admission process kicks off.
