The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently released an official notification regarding the MTS (Non-Technical) Examination, 2017 on the official website, the link for which is ssc.nic.in
Here's what the notice read:
On May 14, the question papers along with some answers were uploaded on a social media site after the exams commenced.
"It has come to the notice of the Commission that on a social media page, the question papers of the MTS Examination 2016, with some answers were uploaded after the commencement of the Morning as well as the Evening Sessions of the examination," the Commission said.
Paper leak issue:
On April 30, when the examination began, the SSC MTS question paper and the answer keys were readily available on social media
While reporting the event, Neetu Singh, the director of KD Campus, uploaded images of the question paper and sought assistance from the SSC and the PMO. On her Facebook page, as per reports, the director of the coaching provider institution asked the students about the paper and the same was confirmed
The exam was scheduled to be held on April 30, May 14, May 28, June 4 and June 11 at various test centres across the nation.
"The Commission would be taking appropriate action against the vested interests in accordance with rules of the Commission and as per law," the notice added.
Abhishek Bachchan's picture on MTS admit card:
In a recent report, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan's picture was found on an SSC MTS admit card.
"In apparent prank, admit card with 'name', pic of junior Bachchan appears on official website of SSC for multi-tasking (non-tech) staff exam,"
Pay scale:
Selected candidates will be paid between Rs 5200 and Rs 20,200 with the grade pay of Rs 1800.
