Joint CSIR-UGC Test for JRF and Lectureship June 2017
CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test Tentatively on Sunday 18th June, 2017 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), National Eligibility Test (NET) and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. A candidate may apply either for ‘JRF’ OR for ‘Lectureship (LS) only’.
The Test will be held in the following on 18/06/2017 :

- Chemical Sciences
- Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences
- Physical Sciences
Eligibility :
Qualification : M. Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4years/ BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for general and OBC-Non Creamy layer candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with disability (PwD) candidates.
Age : 28 years as on 01/01/2017. A relaxation up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories and to women applicants.
Application fee :
₹1000/- (₹500/- for OBC candidates and ₹250/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) to be paid in Indian Bank through payment challan or by RTGS/NEFT.
