UPSC CDS II Exam 2016 On October 23: Admit Cards And More Details

e Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct Combined Defence Service (CDS) II exam on October 23, 2016. Students who are aspiring to become the part of Indian Defence should track the whereabouts of the exam. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts CDS exam twice every year. Last time, it happened on 14th February 2016.

UPSC CDS exam 2016Since the application submission process is completed, candidates would be required to download their admit card to know their test city. venue and timings. Official notification says that the admit cards for the UPSC CDS II 2016 examination will be available to download from www.upsc.gov.in three weeks before the day of exam i.e., from first week of October. It should be noted that no paper admit cards will be sent by post and candidates will have to download e-admit cards from official site only.

The proposed exam is to be scheduled on 23rd October, some 6 weeks from now. Aspiring candidates can prepare for this exam very efficiently in the remaining amount of time. A right approach and planned strategy would definitely work out.

CDS exam is a gateway to joining Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, and Officers Training Academy, Chennai. The selection of different academy would be based on the marks obtained in the exam.

The CDS paper consists of three subjects namely Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness section. For the candidates, who are applying for Officers Training Academy only they would be only eligible for two papers except for Quantitative Aptitude. Each paper consists of 100 marks while the number of questions may vary. The time allotted for each section would be 2 hours.

The result of the exam would be declared after the two months of the exam on the official site of UPSC. The selected candidates will be called for the interview rounds at different Service Selection Boards (SSB) centres across India. This part of is supposed to be the most crucial part of the selection process. After the interview rounds, the document and medical verification are done.
