Thee answer key for SSC CHSL tier 2 exam held  September 18 will be released the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) this week. SSC officially has not set the date for issuance of SSC CHSL answer key of tier 2 exam, but looking back at the trends, expect the answer keys to be out sometime this week.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the Combined Higher Secondary level (CHSL) Tier 2 examination today on September 18. Watch this page for updates about answer keys and paper analysis for SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam 2015.

The commission, SSC has said that CHSL tier 2 exam was held in pen and paper based mode, only in one forenoon session from 10 am to 11 am at selected places. Earlier this year the Commission revised the scheme for recruitment to Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator posts through CHSL examination. Now, apart from tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 stage tests would also be conducted, making this recruitment process three phased.

The results of Tier 1 were announced on July 30 in which only 2.% candidates qualified for the tier 2 exam. Tier 1 exam was taken by 30.44 lakh applicants.

60,975 candidates had qualified for the tier-2 exam who were issued the admission letters in August last week. The tier 2 exam, called descriptive test will be of one hour duration.

According to SSC, it introduced the tier 2 exam to ensure the writing skills of candidates which is deemed necessary in government jobs. The aspirants would be asked to write an essay of 200-250 words and an application/letter of 150-200 words.The test would have to be taken in either English or Hindi language.

Similar to tier 1, the candidates in tier 2 would be selected on the basis of marks obtained in tier 2 itself, the minimum cut off marks for which has been set at 33% by the commission. The final merit will be published after taking candidate’s aggregate marks secured in the tier 1 and tier 2 exam.

While the SSC recruitment process has undergone several changes this year as even CGL went online and CHSL exam witnessed addition of one more phase, the tier-3 will continue to be conducted in the same manner i.e., it will be a skill test/ typing test of qualifying nature.

The tier-3 would be held after the results of tier-2 are announced and the schedule will be notified by SSC on its website.

With just 2 days remaining in the holding of SSC CHSL tier 2 exam 2015-2016, candidates should download their admit cards now which will contain information about test city, centre and candidates’ details.
