Interestingly, the SSC (Class 10 or Class X) Supplementary / Repeaters / ATKT exam results are declared on the last day of the Special Round 3 for admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC), and the students are finding it hard how to participate in the FYJC admission process.
"The students are anxious and uneasy because the Special Round 3 for admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC) has already commenced from today and in the absence of their results they cannot participate in the admission process", Jawwad Ahmed, parent of a student, said while talking to ummid.com today morning.
"The last date for online application for First Year Junior College (FYJC) Special Round 3 is today i.e. August 30. How can the students fill up the form if their results are not declared", he moaned.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) was earlier conducting the Supplementary or Repeaters Exam in the month of October. "The education department is running the Special Round 1,2 and 3 besides others for the students who will pass the July 2016 Supplementary exams. But, the Special Round 3 ends tomorrow and there is no way students who pass the Supplementary exam participate in the admission process even if the results are declared tomorrow", Yaseen Ansari, a teacher, said.
"We are wondering if the board has decided to run additional rounds for the students who appeared and passed in the July 2016 Supplementary exams?" he added.
The number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 Lacs for HSC and 17 Lac’s SSC, for the supplementary examination around 6 Lacs students are expected HSC and SSC together.
