Applications from Indian Nationals and nominations are invited for the post of DIRECTOR who will be the Academic Head and Chief Executive Officer of the above Institute. The Institute, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt.of India with a status of a University, has a tertiary care hospital for Cardiology and Neurology, a Biomedical Technology Wing and a School of Public Health. The Institute has close to 1300 staff, including the faculty. Qualification & Experience:
(1) Medical qualification included in the 1st or 2nd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act (2) A high postgraduate qualification in any of the specialties of interest to the Institute (3)Teaching and/or research experience of not less than 12 years in the subject of specialization after post-graduate qualification and (4) 25 years standing in the profession.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 60 years on 1st January, 2014 Salary: Rs.80000/- (fixed)+NPA of 25% of basic pay but Pay+ NPA does not exceed Rs.85,000/- and allowance at Central Government rates. A staff car and furnished accommodation will be provided.
