TECHNICAL EXPERT, New Delhi RURAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS PROGRAMME
GIZ is an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development. As a federally owned enterprise, GIZ supports German Government in achieving Its objectives In the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.
The Indo-German development cooperation project between GIZ and NABARD "Rural Financial Institutions Programme (RFIP)" aims at increasing access to sustainable and demand-oriented financial services through the institutions of the rural cooperative credit system, microfinance organizations and banks and their business correspondents. This Position Requires:
• Candidates with extensive working experience (at least 8 years) in the area of SHG Bank Linkage, Financial Inclusion, Livelihood Development, Financial Literacy.
• Good understanding of situation & challenges for rural low-income households/rural development
• Exposure to technological solutions related to financial Inclusion (Biometric, PoS, Mobile based payment services under BC model) would be an added advantage.
• Project management and implementation experience
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (oral and written);
• Masters' degree in relevantsubject
