APPOINTMENT Recruitment for various posts of Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centres under concerned health institutions and Bihar State AIDS Control Society (BSACS) are to be filled. Applications are invited in prescribed proforma for filling up of the following posts on Contractual basis at Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centres for Injecting Drug Users (IDUs), going to be established at 2 OST Centres viz. (1) Gardanibagh Government Hospital, Patna, (2) Sub‐Divisional Hospital Mohania, Kaimur.               

Doctor   
Should have a minimum qualification of MBBS with valid registration from the Medical Council. Preference will be given to MD Psychiatry / Diploma in Psychiatry Medicine

Staff Nurse   
Should have a minimum qualification of ANM. Those with Diploma Nursing/Bachelor of Science (Nursing) would be preferred

Counsellor   
Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Social Sciences/Humanities. Those who have received training in counselling drug users and prior experience of working with drug users would be preferred.

Data Entry Operator   
Should be a Graduate and should have received a formal training in computer applications.   

General Instructions:‐

1. The last date of receipt of applications is 28th February, 2014. Applications received after closing date and incomplete application in any respect will not be entertained.
2. The maximum age limit for the post is 62 years.
3. The said posts are purely temporary and contractual.
4. The posts will be place specific and non transferable.
5. The post applied for should be clearly mentioned on the top of the envelope.
6. Officials of Government Department are also eligible to apply against this vacancy.
7. Candidates should submit their applications complete in all respects along with attested photocopies of all testimonials and one photograph, and sent through Registered/Speed Post only, addressed to the Civil Surgeon offices of respective districts for respective OST Centres (for wherever they apply) viz. (1) Civil Surgeon, Patna, Mahendru Ghat, Patna ‐ 800004, (2) Civil Surgeon, Kaimur, Bhabhua ‐ 821103 on or before 28th February, 2014 by 5:00 PM. Any application not conforming to this requirement shall be automatically rejected.
8. Civil Surgeons of the respective districts will be the appointing authority for the OST centres.
