UTTAR PRADESH STATE RURAL LIVELIHOODS MISSION (UPSRLM)
The
Ministry of Rural Development, GOI has launched the National Rural
Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) as a flagship rural development program.
The objective of this Mission is to eliminate rural poverty through
innovative social mobilization and financial and economic inclusion
strategies. To implement the NRLM in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the
Government of Uttar Pradesh has set up an autonomous society i.e. State
Rural Livelihood Society (UPSRLM), under the aegis of Rural Development
Department, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.To
start with society has got Government’s approval to implement the
program in 88 blocks of 22 districts for which exclusive team at state,
district and block level is being already deployed.
UPSRLM has started the process
of placing professionally qualified and competent staff at its State,
District and Block Programme Management Units. It has engaged SIDS P
Ltd to deploy key human resources at Senior Management Level for
UPSRLM. The persons would be employed by SIDS and would be seconded to
work with and report to appropriate leadership in UPSRLM organizational
structure.
SIDS invites applications from
professionals who desire to take up the challenge of making a
difference in the livelihoods of the rural poor in Uttar Pradesh.

Gross Monthly Remuneration : Rs 100,000 pm.
However, remuneration of suitable
candidates can be fixed at higher side as per the total no. of years of

Post Graduate
Degree in Rural Development/ Social Work/ Agriculture & Allied/
Management/ Business Administration and allied disciplines/
Development Studies from recognized universities OR Post Graduate
Diploma in the above disciplines from recognized universities with at
least 55% marks or equivalent grades |
Should have at least 12 to 15 years of relevant post qualification work experience in
leading and coordinating large scale community driven development
programmes, particularly World Bank/ UN/ National and International
Development funding with wide spectrum on managing large scale
livelihood promotion programmes, of which 7 years should be in senior management level
in Govt/ Semi Govt/ World Bank/ UN/National/International
Development project. S/he should have been drawing a gross salary of
at least 75,000 per month for the last two-three years. |
State Thematic Expert – Social Inclusion
Gross Monthly Remuneration : Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000 pm. |
Post Graduate
Degree in Rural Development/ Social Work/ Agriculture & Allied/
Management/ Business Administration and allied disciplines/
Development Studies from recognized universities OR Post Graduate
Diploma in the above disciplines from recognized universities with at
least 55% marks or equivalent grades |
Should have at least 7 to 10 years of relevant post qualification work experience
and understanding in the field of working with socially excluded
groups/ class, Social Inclusion framework and Community Institution
framework in the National/ International scenario of which at least 3 years should be in senior/ middle management level.
A thorough knowledge of and substantial experience in the thematic
area, knowledge of public policies, experience of managing and
implementing a large programme, at least at state level, experience
of working with govt/ semi-govt/ UN/development programmes.
S/he should have been drawing a gross salary of at least 35,000 per month for the last one year. |
State Thematic Expert – Training & Capacity Building
Gross Monthly Remuneration : Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000 pm. |
Post Graduate
Degree in Rural Development/ Social Work/ Agriculture & Allied/
Management/ Business Administration and allied disciplines/
Development Studies from recognized universities OR Post Graduate
Diploma in the above disciplines from recognized universities with at

capability building of community institutions, Govt and other stake
holder institutions, organization development and facilitating
building of community institutions in National/ International
scenario, of which at least 3 years should be in senior/ middle management level.

area, knowledge of public policies, experience of managing and
implementing a large programme, at least at state level, experience
of working with govt/ semi-govt/ UN/development programmes.

Project Manager – MIS
Gross Monthly Remuneration : Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 pm. |
Post Graduate
degree in Computer Sciences (MSc./MCA/M. Tech) OR MBA Rural
Development OR MSc. Statistics with DOEACC ‘O’ Level certification OR
a Post Graduate Diploma in above disciplines from recognized
university/ Institute with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. |
Should have at least 5 to 7 years of relevant post qualification work experience
and understanding in the filed of IT based Monitoring & Evaluation
in the area of community development, SHGs and Institution
Development. Should have strong knowledge of IT based monitoring
tools and systems of programme learning at the State/ National Level,
of which at least 2 yrs should be in the middle management level. S/he should have been drawing a gross salary of at least 30,000 per month for the last one year. |
