Incorporated in 1980, with the primary objective to procure, distribute and utilize natural gas and allied technology, GGCL pioneered the concept of natural gas distribution to industrial, commercial and domestic customers. Today, it supplies gas to more than 4,00,000 domestic, commercial and industrial customers and serves over 2,00,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) users. As part of the Rs. 15000 crorc GSPC Group, actively engaged in H&P, transmission and distribution of gas, power generation, research and development. GGCL seeks to identify a dynamic CEO from the energy sector who can manage the challenges and goals while upscaling its operations. The CEO will be based at the Corporate Office in Ahmedabad.

Qualification: Preferably B.E/ B.Tech with MBA/PG Diploma in Management from a reputed institute.
Experience: Over 25 years experience, of which minimum 10 years in a Senior Executive position within the Oil, Gas and Energy Sector. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience in gas transmission and distribution.
The CEO will provide leadership, direction, guidance and control the entire operations of the company (i.e. sales and marketing, projects, QHSE, finance, human resource, etc). He will be expected to develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives, promote revenue, profitability, and growth aligned with the business goal of the company. A proven ability to successfully implement well thought out strategies will be a key performance attribute.
As a professional from the energy sector, he should have a dynamic personality, an analytical mind and ability to present credible commercial and strategic recommendations to professionally manage the inherent complexities of the sector. As a natural leader, he will be expected to be an inspirational figure, capable of mentoring those around him to reach their full potential and deliver services beyond those expected by key stakeholders.
