Download Admit Card cum Attendance Slip for the post of University Grants Commission(UGC) Education Officer. Examination will be held on 20th June 2013.
1. The UGC announces to conduct a national level examination for recruitment to the post of Education Officer on 30th June, 2013.
2. All those applicants who had applied online in response to advertisement issued on 16/2/2013 and 17/2/2013 are invited to appear in the said examination.
3.It may be noted that the issue of admission card to all such candidates will be purely provisional and will be subjected to fulfillment of eligibility conditions as per UGC Cadre Recruitment Rules for the said post and other such conditions that may be laid down by the Commission for the purpose of selection.
4. The applicants may opt for the desired centre out of 23 centres and download their Admit Card cum Attendance Slip from the UGC Website (www.ugcnetonline.in) from 08th to 20th June, 2013.

6. The examination will consist of two objective type papers – Paper I will consist of 60 questions out of which candidate will be required to attempt 50 questions and Paper II will consist of 50 compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks.
7. Paper I will be of general nature to assess the general awareness, reasoning, communication skill, administrative skill, comprehension, analytical skill etc. and Paper II will be to test language efficiency of the candidate. The candidate will have the option either to opt for language efficiency in Hindi or alternatively in English.
8. The timings for test will be as follows:
i. Paper-I 9.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.
ii. Paper-II 10.45 a.m. to 12.00 noon
9. Result will be prepared as per the aggregate of marks secured by the candidate in Paper I & Paper II. Thereafter, based on the merit shortlisting will be done for inviting the candidates for interview from amongst the candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions as per UGC Cadre Recruitment Rules for the said post and other such conditions that may be laid down by the Commission for the purpose of selection.
10. Candidates should print 2 copies of the Admission Card cum Attendance Slip and bring to the venue of test, affix PP size recent photograph duly signed by the candidate and attested by the class – I Officer. One copy of Admission Card must be handed over to the invigilator on June 30, 2013 at examination hall.
11. No TA will be paid for appearing in the Test.
12. Entry to the Examination Hall will not be allowed without this admission card, the candidate should also bring along with valid photo ID proof.
13. Electronic devices/Cellular phone/Mobile/Pager/Calculator/Log Tablets etc. shall not be allowed in the Examination Hall/Room.
14. Venue of Test: Candidates are requested to visit website of the Coordinating University/College for ascertaining Venue of Test atleast 7-days before the Test, i.e. upto 23rd June, 2013. The Coordinating University/College will not inform to the candidate individually regarding the seating arrangement/venue of test.
15. The instructions will be uploaded on the UGC website (www.ugcnetonline.in) and (www.ugc.ac.in) in the third week of June, 2013. Candidates may see the instructions regarding use of test booklets, OMR sheet and specimen copy of OMR sheet on the UGC website.
16. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall/room before 11:30 a.m.
17. Candidates are allowed to carry the test booklets of paper – I & paper – II along with duplicate copy (carbon less copy) of OMR sheet on conclusion of the examination.
18. Candidates will not be issued the admission card by the respective coordinating universities. Candidates should note that their candidature is strictly provisional. The mere fact that admission card has been issued by the UGC and candidate is allowed to appear in the test shall not imply that the commission has finally accepted his/her candidature.
19. The candidate will be permitted to appear at allotted venue of test only.
20. The request for change of coordinating university/venue of test will not be entertained.
