Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), an autonomous society under Department of Finance, Govt, of Bihar has been designated as State Rural Livelihoods Mission by Rural Development Department, Govt, of Bihar to scale up JEEViKA model in all 534 Blocks of 38 Districts in Bihar under National Rural Livelihoods Mission.
So far JEEViKA has been able to reach out to nearly 11 Lakh rural poor households by organizing them into 90000 women SHGs under 5700 Village organizations and 57 Cluster Level Federations in merely 6 years period. These institutions have generated approx. Rs. 39 Crore as their own fund and have leveraged Rs.278 Crore from the Banks. BRLPS would be organizing, empowering and promoting livelihoods for nearly 1.5 crore rural poor households through 10 Lakh.

S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. Proficiency in working with MS office is a must. | S/he will be responsible for: Planning, Coordinating and developing project interventions strategy, Guiding and supporting thematic heads in rolling out various program interventions. S/he will be responsible for designing and formulation of program Policies, processes and operational manual for effective functioning of program interventions. |
3 | Programme Coordinator - Financial Inclusion | Post Graduate in Management/Rural Management; with Minimum Experience 12 years in state level development projects in the areas micro finance, bank linkage, community finance, convergence such as insurance & pension of which 4 years as relevant thematic heads. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. 4 | Programme Coordinator - Institution and Social Development | Post Graduate in Management/Rural Management; with Minimum Experience 12 years in state level development projects in the areas Institution building, capacity building, social development, entitlement, health, nutrition and convergence with govt. programmes of which 4 years as relevant thematic heads. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. 6 | State Project Manager-Resource Cell | S/he should be a Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Rural Development/ Management/ Business Management/ Business Administration/ Social Work course with at least7 years of relevant work experience, out of which 3 years relevant experience should be of senior manager level. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. Proficiency in working with MS office is a must. | S/he would be responsible for: Managing and coordinating the project/society resources for external stakeholders. Facilitating the project/program team in getting the external resources regarding exposure visit for capacity building. Organizing and facilitate /support the SPMU team in organizing conferences, workshops, seminars, symposium, training and events. Managing and bookkeeping of entire resource materials available at the Society. S/he will also have to undertake extensive field visit to ensure the quality project/program interventions. |
7 | Livelihoods Specialist | S/he should have graduate degree in Agriculture / Animal Husbandry / Dairy Technology / Fishery / Horticulture from recognised institutes/university. (Fresher can apply). Work experience in any related agriculture & allied project will be an added advantage. Working knowledge in MS office will be desirable. | The roll out of all livelihoods interventions (agriculture, animal husbandry, beekeeping, fishery, etc.) in the VOs/SHGs in coordination with CC and specialized community cadre developed for each of the intervention. Training and developing a specialized community cadre for scaling up in the various livelihood interventions. Responsible for producing Village Livelihood Plans (which detailed out current livelihoods of SHG HHs and potential opportunities) |
- All Positions are offered on a contract basis for a period of three years. Renewal of contract would be subject to performance.
- Other benefits include- Annual performance incentive up to 30% of Basic, mediclaim & accidental insurance, laptop policy and self learning etc.
- Full time/Permanent, currently working or retired officials from Bihar State Services/PSUs/Banks may apply for the positions subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria pertaining to overall experience. Relevant deputation norms/BRLPS policy would be applicable for them.
Selection: BRLPS has contracted Sutra-TMI Consortium, Secunderabad, an independent professional agency to fill up these vacancies.
