Today, the Republic Day is celebrated with much enthusiasm all over India. It was on January 26th, 1950 our Constitution was displayed to the world.
Republic Day is a people’s day. On this day and in all the coming days let us allow our regional and religion identities to take a backseat, shun violence & embrace unity and brotherhood to represent the true spirit of the independent India, and work to resolve all our problems through amicable means and meaningful dialogue.
If we do so, India will be a nation where the rural-urban divide is reduced to a thin line, the Agriculture, Industry and Service Sectors work together in symphony, & all Indians are provided with adequate nutrition, clean water, basic sanitation, education, enforced constitutional rights, basic health care, & adequate opportunities to work, live, & prosper.
I wish you all a very Happy Republic Day.
