State Society for Ultra poor &Social Welfare (SSUPSW) under the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Bihar is mandated for implementing different projects of the Social Welfare Department including technical assistance to ICDS, Directorate of Social Securities and Disabilities & Directorate of Social Welfare. The Society is responsible for the implementation of the Sector Wide Approach to Strengthen Health (SWASTH) project funded by DFID, UK. Under the SWASTH project a Nutrition Monitoring Unit (NMU) has been established under the aegis of SSUPSW for strengthening management services of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme. The Society requires OSD for its Nutrition Monitoring Unit (NMU).The detail eligibility criteria for this post is as follows;

1. OSD
 
UR (1 Position) Only Government Officers / Bihar Administrative Service officer with 20 years of service or retired GoB officers may apply or be posted on Deputation / Lien / Contract. Prior experience of working with ICDS or Social Sector will be advantageous.
  • Overall management of the NMU
  • Larger strategic and policy level leadership and guidance
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring the streamlining and cohesion of SWASTH interventions with the larger programmatic and project related goals of ICDS / SWD
Government regular/ retired officers as per rules
