Description	IntraHealth International, Inc. is currently accepting expressions of interest from potential candidates interested in IntraHealth’s submission for an upcoming DFID Funded Improved Family Planning and Reproductive Health Services program in India. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES The Information & Communications Technology Specialist (ICT) will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing major project activities and lead in the roll out of project activities using ICT platforms such as SMS and social media campaigns and helplines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •Utilize technical expertise in ICT, social media, websites, and education-entertainment to develop applications and platforms for FP/RH services demand generation efforts. •Prepares analysis of existing ICT based intervention models (mobile telephony, websites, fixed line telephony and business processing outsourcing (BPO)) in public health to identify barriers and opportunities to accelerating improvements in reproductive health (RH)and family planning (FP) access and quality. •Guide, train and advise team members, contributing to ICT human capacity building on various hardware and software relevant to project activities. •Develop IT policies, procedures and standards and systems for data collection and storage. •Facilitate increased use of IT enabled services through various options like Hindi mobile phone voice messages, short messaging services (SMS), interactive voice response system (IVRS) and in-bound and outbound calls for facilitating access and utilization of FP/RH services. •Coordinate operation and maintenance of an adolescent help line including technical support, training and monitoring of intervention •Search out and master information on leading edge technologies in order to maintain expertise in a rapidly changing field; •Ensure the security and integrity of data while residing on project computers and networks.
Requirements	EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS •University degree in communications with experience in computer science, information systems, IT, or other related field. Other qualifications and IT Certifications with extensive experience in information technology for consumer behavior change applications may be accepted •At least 5 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in communications and information technology; •Demonstrated experience in designing, managing the end-to-end product development cycle and, developing IT/ mobile solutions. •Prior experience working with international development organizations or supporting donor funded projects •Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi required, and knowledge of Urdu or Oriya is an advantage.
