Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) / Computer Science OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computers / Electronics) from a recognised institution in India or abroad with at least 8 years of post qualification experience in designing / administering large multivariate databases preferably for monitoring & evaluation of development initiatives in India preferably Bihar/ Eastern / Northern India
  • Support Directorate to establish integrated web enabled MIS system
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of the work efficiency and / or reduction of monotonous activities through the use of IT interventions
  • Develop plans (along with budgets) to deploy IT interventions more effectively and efficiently at the grassroots level
  • Lead the implementation of IT interventions
  • Develop tools, protocols, systems and mechanisms to improve data collection, data quality and data validity to improve the MIS requirements of the SWASTH Programme

  • Identify HR Reforms areas in the ICDS programme and develop plans to meet the reform requirements
  • Institutionalize mechanisms for performance reviews of ICDS personnel at the village, block, district and state levels

  • Under advice and guidance of the SPM ( Nutrition Capacity Building) undertake specific duties assigned by the SPM related to improving the functional and technical skills and capacities of ICDS personnel
  • Assist SPM ( Nutrition Capacity Building) to identify capacity building needs of ICDS functionaries on a periodic basis and implement plans to meet these needs.
  • Periodically monitor capacity building inputs being provided to ICDS personnel for quality and relevance and recommend changes (if required)

  • Identify areas of convergence with other governmental departments at the grassroots levels to ensure meeting of the district’s nutrition goals
