Job Description | • Enter daily financial transactions (receipts and disbursements, journal etc) on Tally • Maintain proper supporting vouchers for all payments • Assist in providing transparent, timely and effective financial information and reporting required by the Finance Officer • Perform internal control of all receipts • Preparing Bank reconciliation statements regularly • Preparing Half Yearly Report and Annual Accounts of the Circle • Preparing and maintaining Fixed Assets Register of the Project Assets • Deducting and depositing and maintaining records for TDS for Income Tax for salary payments to contractors • Assist in preparing Annual Budget based on Annual Action Plan • Perform any other relevant work as directed by Finance Officer |

Checks balances against accounting receipt records. • Posts accounting data by hand or by computer data entry in the cash journal on a daily basis. • Maintains trial balance, Petty cash. • Prepares bank account deposit documents and confirms deposit totals. • Maintains bank accounts. • Completes end of the month closing process and disburses revenues and other funds to the appropriate entities. • Reconciles revenue reports on a monthly basis. • Prepares financial reports such as revenue summaries, revenue transmittal sheets, trial balance reports, and bank account reconciliation forms. • Maintains and serves as point of contact with the Administrative Offices concerning accounting issues. |
